then press 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 for the US$ amount you wish to transfer then press # then press SEND

Dial 125 and follow the system instructions.

6. How To Recharge With SMS Banking

 

• STEP ONE:

Open a banking account with International Bank (Liberia) and sign-up for SMS Banking at any of its branches (Broad Street, Caldwell, and Kakata). A four-digit PIN will be generated by the system and sent to you.

• TO RECHARGE

Press TP then your 4-digit PIN then the amount

• Make sure you have credits in your phone

• Add Cellcom numbers by dialing (*555#number send).

• To add USA number dial (*555#001number#send).

• To change a current number, dial (*555#current number new number send).

• To list MY5, dial (*556#send).

8. How to Activate GPRS/ EDGE - Mobile Internet

 

STEP ONE:

Make sure you have a sufficient airtime balance - the monthly fee will be deducted directly from your airtime credit once your GPRS/EDGE is activated.

STEP TWO:

Press *GPRS# OR *4777# and then press SEND

11. How To Activate Roaming and Make Calls

 

1. Register for Roaming Activate Roaming yourself by pressing *7626# send. In moments, you'll receive an SMS confirming your roaming activation.

2. Identify our roaming partner in the country you will be visiting Review the list of Cellcom’s GSM Roaming Network Partners and take note of which partner will be assisting you abroad.

3. At your destination, select the network partner on your phone some cell phones automatically configure the network partner into your phone; for others, you will need to manually select the roaming network partner. To manually select, search for network partners and select the one that you identified prior to your departure. You are now connected.

4. Dial the party you want to connect to. For calls to Liberia: press *077# then the requested number then # then SEND.

For countries other than Liberia: press 077# then (country code) requested number then # then SEND. In just moments after pressing send, you will receive an incoming call. Pick it up and you're connected to the requested number.
